Our mission is to lift up Christ on the campus.
This is obviously easier said than done. College students are challenged every day by the current culture, professors; not to mention learning to balance studies and having a social life. We believe Chi Alpha is a place where students can grow and be successful spiritually, academically and socially. There are four things that we consider to be core values. These values make up who we are and what we see every student becoming.
Being a Family
We believe that students need a place to feel safe, where they can be themselves. Here they can connect with students from all over the world and form friendships that will last a lifetime. The support, encouragement, and love they find here will help to make college one of the best experiences of their life.
Living a Mission
We believe that students are here at Oklahoma State University for a purpose. Yes, that purpose includes academics; but we also believe that the college campus is the most strategic mission field to reach. Here we have an opportunity to impact the campus… the nation… and the world.
Encouraging Servant Leadership
We believe in following Jesus’ example to serve others. This form of leadership may be uncommon today, but still makes the biggest impact. When students learn to serve the campus and the community, they are learning to be better leaders.
Promoting Authenticity
We believe in being real authentic followers of Jesus. We recognize that we don’t have it all figured out, but we are striving to be like Christ.
